The above is a hall in a private home, as you can see, it is quite a size, this superb house had been designed to optimise natural light. After much consultation, it was decided that this hall could carry two floor coverings to help add interest to the large floor area, and highlight even further the unusual angles in the hall. The bottom area of the hall has tiger oak from the Plank Company fitted over the underfloor heating and the tiles in the top area is travatine flooring which I can supply for you.
A close up of the lower part of the hall shows off the beautiful grain in the tiger oaks, wide boards, complementing the high gloss of the tiles.
The use of high gloss tiles in an entrance hall opens the space and reflects any natural light, giving the impression of a bigger floor space.
